I chose to celebrate life

Today, my precious son Chance would have turned 11 years old. Instead of letting sadness and depression take hold, I choose to celebrate his beautiful life and the love he brought into the world.

I started the day speaking with the strong and inspiring Sizemore girls after they finished watching Giving Hope, and I had a soul-stirring conversation with the amazing Ebony on her Coinology podcast. These moments remind me of the power of resilience, the strength of love, and the beauty of continuing Chance’s legacy through every life I touch.

Happy birthday, baby love. Mommy loves you forever and always. Your light continues to shine through me.
